Grief, Loss and Bereavement Counseling

Are you grieving over the loss of a loved one, pet or coping with divorce? Have you gone through a life transition such as change of career, retirement or become an “empty nester.” Has chronic illness effected your life?

Do you find yourself unable "to get past" your loss on your own and maybe you don't know why? Do you have an understanding of the stages of grief?

Grief can feel unbearable. You may be getting the message from others that you should be over it. What most people don’t understand until they go through it, is that there is no set timetable when it comes to grief. Grief, loss, death or bereavement counseling can help you through the stages of grieving and help you to feel a sense of renewal. The support and comfort received by sharing your feelings and experience with a caring professional who can guide you through the process is often the first step in healing.

"What I value most is the individuality and uniqueness of each person that comes to see me. Almost always there is an issue of changing or improving certain areas in one's life. My approach is to help individuals or couples understand and explore their concerns while guiding them and assisting them in developing new skills that allow them to move forward to where they want to be."
